Tarlton Bridge

69K JPEG image The view through Tarlton Bridge is most attractive on a sunny spring day, especially if it has rained heavily recently, when the canal will be flowing with lovely clear water that is fed from springs inside the tunnel.

Daffodils flower along the grassy banks, newly manicured by Cotswold Canals Trust volunteers, and the straight stretch of the King's Reach leads the eye to the Coates Portal of Sapperton Tunnel in the distance.
