The wide rear doors allow easy access to the main lounge area on Saros.
When arriving on the boat laden with luggage and provisions, this easy
access is much appreciated (and double doors at the front as well save
having to take luggage all the way through the boat).
Once having experienced Saros' sensible layout with the rear lounge,
boats with a bedroom at the back, separating the steerer from the rest
of the party, seem distinctly unfriendly.
The trad/semi-trad style can't possibly be as easy to load and unload at the
beginning/end of the holiday. Fine for live-aboards maybe, but for a boat
that's used for holidays, Saros' layout is hard to beat.
